Why Field & Family Gundog Training was created
Nicola set up Field & Family Gundog Training to help owners get the very best from their dogs—both at home and in the field.
Too often, Nicola saw gundogs and gundog cross breeds that are difficult to live with, have behavioural issues with great potential but no clear direction or structure. She wanted to help and support both dogs and their owners.
With the growing demand of the high energy, intelligent gundog breed as a family pet Nicola wanted to offer breed specific training not only to working dogs but also family pets, enriching the lives of our canine companions. As well as supporting owners in understanding their dogs, while strengthening the bond between them.
Her aim is to create dogs that are not only capable and responsive when working, but also calm, well-mannered, and enjoyable to live with day-to-day.
